2012 General Election Propositions
Shall the petition entitled: “Petition to Increase the Number of Councilmembers from Two to Four in the Town of Alden, Erie County, New York Pursuant to New York State Town Law Section 81(2)(d)”, be approved?
Shall the qualified electors of the Town of Aurora, Erie County, New York, approve Local Law No. 4-2012 adopted by the Town Board of said Town of Aurora on the 5th day of September, 2012, which Local Law will abolish the elected office of Receiver of Taxes and Assessments and transfer the obligations of the Receiver of Taxes and Assessments to the Town Clerk? The transfer will be effective only at the expiration of the term of office to which the present incumbent was elected (December 31, 2013), or the office becomes vacant prior to the end of the said term of office.
Shall the Volunteer Firefighters Service Award Program annual award contribution be increased from $480.00 per year to $700.00 per year by increases of $70.00 per year in the first year, $70.00 per year in the second year and $80.00 per year in the third year to reach the maximum amount authorized by law?
Shall the Volunteer Firefighters Service Award Program be amended by changing the entitlement age for benefits to sixty years from sixty-five years?
Shall the Town of West Seneca increase the number of councilpersons from two (2) to four (4) effective January 1, 2014?
