PROPOSITION No. 1
Referendum to Amend the Fire Department Service Award Program

Shall the resolution of the Board of Trustees for the Village of Springville adopted February 1, 2010 amending the existing Defined Benefit Service Award Program previously established by the Village of Springville in 1989 pursuant to Article 11A of General Municipal Law, allowing $15.00 per month for each year of service is amended to $20.00 per month for each year of qualified service to a maximum of twenty (20) years be approved?

This amendment to the Village of Springville’s Length of Service Awards Program if approved will take effect June 1, 2010 and is not retroactive.

It should be further noted that should this resolution be denied by the voters of the Village of Springville the existing plan will not be affected.
